BauderMINERAL NC 56 Inverted Upstand Board
We are pleased to introduce a new product to our inverted insulation portfolio ‐ BauderMINERAL NC 56 Inverted Upstand Board.
Product Overview
The BauderMINERAL NC 56 Inverted Upstand Board comprises of 50mm mineral wool with a 6mm fibre cement facing, matching the specification of our existing BauderROCK NC 56mm Upstand Board.
Why are we adding this board to our range?
The introduction of this board offers several strategic and operational advantages:
- Supplier alignment ‐ The supplier of the new NC 56mm board also provides our JFRI insulation range. This alignment enables us to streamline procurement and logistics.
- Operational Efficiency ‐ When JFRI is used as the field area insulant and a noncombustible upstand board is required, the NC 56mm board becomes the preferred choice. This allows for combined deliveries reducing:
- Transport costs
- Site disruption
- Time spent by contractors receiving and checking deliveries
- Environmental Benefits ‐ Fewer deliveries results in lower transport mileage
- contributing to a reduction in CO2 emissions.
- Flexible Ordering ‐ The new board will be available with a reduced minimum order quantity of 36 boards (1 pallet), half the current minimum of 72 boards for our BauderROCK version.
What about our existing BauderROCK NC 56mm board?
The BauderMINERAL NC 56 Inverted Upstand Board will become the default in specifications where an inverted non‐combustible upstand board is required, replacing the BauderROCK NC 56mm Upstand Board.
What will the price of the BauderMINERAL NC 56 Inverted Upstand Board be?
The new 56mm board will be listed at the same price as our existing BauderROCK NC
56mm Upstand Board.
