BauderBLUE ST Adjustable Flow Restrictor
Bauder are introducing BauderBLUE ST, a new adjustable flow restrictor.
The new BauderBLUE ST Adjustable Flow Restrictor allows the flow rate of the Blue Roof flow restrictor to be adjusted and set on site.
BauderBLUE ST will eventually supersede the existing Blue Roof Flow Restrictor, BauderBLUE SR.
The new system offers a wider range of flow rates and will become a stocked product, significantly reducing lead times as bespoke manufacturing is no longer required.
Product Variants
The product is supplied in two versions:
- BauderBLUE ST-B – For Bituminous Systems
- BauderBLUE ST-HM – For Hot Melt Systems
BauderBLUE ST has been used for all Blue Roof calculations from 1st August 2022.
Existing BauderBLUE SR Flow Restrictors
Contractors will still be able to purchase the existing BauderBLUE SR Flow Restrictor for specifications produced prior to the changeover.
This product will continue to be supported by Bauder moving forward.
Bauder Blue Roof Systems
Bauder now offers three Blue Roof systems:
- Bauder STORMcell – Utilises the Bauder Attenuation Cell to provide high-capacity water storage.
- Bauder STORMvoid – Uses Bauder Pedestal Systems to form the void and provide a cost-effective paved Blue Roof solution.
- Bauder STORMsub – Uses the new RE 40 Drainage Board and RE Substrate to create a Blue/Green Roof solution, utilising the substrate to attenuate rainwater whilst using 87% less plastic.
