BauderSOLAR – Removal of Requirement for Separators on Thermofol Installations

As part of our ongoing product improvement process and following ongoing lifecycle testing, BauderSOLAR separators are no longer required for installation on Bauder Thermofol single-ply installations.

Why?

Following lifecycle testing, it has been demonstrated that there is no plasticiser migration between the BauderSOLAR mounting unit and Bauder Thermofol membranes.

As a result, the separating layer is no longer required and can be removed from all future schemes.

When Does This Come Into Effect?

All new orders from 1st September 2022.

What About Projects Already Live on Site?

If separators were delivered prior to 1st September 2022, they should still be installed in accordance with the project specification.

Does This Affect the Guarantee?

No. There is no impact on the Bauder guarantee.

What About Pricing?

All new quotations issued from 1st September 2022 will exclude separator costs.

If you have an existing scheme that requires re-quoting to remove separator costs, please contact the Bauder Sales Team.

What About Literature and Documentation?

Installation guidelines are currently being updated and will be available from September 2022.
