Changes to BauderSOLAR Pricing & Electrical Contractor Schedule of Rates

In partnership with our national framework of partner electrical contractors, we are launching an updated pricing schedule that includes electrical items such as inverters within the pricing schedule.

Why?

In order to streamline processes, ensure our offering remains competitive and meet relevant industry standards, Bauder will no longer quote for or supply solar photovoltaic electrical components such as inverters and cabling.

These elements, together with the associated electrical design requirements, will instead be included within the updated Schedule of Rates and supplied directly by our approved electrical contractor partners.

When Does This Come Into Effect?

All new orders placed from 1st February 2024.

What About Projects Already Ordered?

Bauder will continue to facilitate any existing orders already placed prior to the change.

What Does This Mean for Electrical Design?

As solar photovoltaic systems continue to increase in scale and complexity, it is important that Bauder continues to provide the highest levels of quality, support and compliance for our roofing contractor network.

Bauder will continue to provide:

• Roof layouts
• Wind load calculations
• Generation projections

Our electrical contractor partners will now undertake and supply:

• Electrical design and surveys
• G98 and G99 grid applications
• Supply of electrical items such as inverters and cabling

What Will Bauder Include in Our Quotations?

From 1st February 2024, Bauder quotations will include:

• BauderSOLAR F mounting systems
• BauderSOLAR F XL mounting systems
• BauderSOLAR G LIGHT mounting systems
• Specified solar panels only

Will This Affect Your Pricing?

No. Across all trial schemes, the revised pricing structure resulted in a more competitive overall price for the client.
