BauderSOLAR MST-PVC welding sleeve colour change

As part of our ongoing product development process, Bauder are changing the colour of our BauderSOLAR MST-PVC single-ply welding sleeves from light grey to anthracite.

Why?

Historically we have only sold Bauder MST-PVC welding sleeves in light grey. This is at odds with the predominant colour of our PVC membrane roofs, which are anthracite. This disparity can cause confusion during installation.

What is changing?

We have therefore made the decision to change the colour of our BauderSOLAR MST-PVC welding sleeves to anthracite for all BauderSOLAR MST-PVC orders.

When?

All orders received after 01.02.2025.

Please note!

For all BauderSOLAR MST-PVC installations, the welding sleeve should be installed anthracite side upwards. If there is any confusion, please check the underside of the MST-PVC welding sleeve matches the underside of the field membrane (underside of selvedge for fleece-backed membrane).
