Introduction of BauderVIP INV Inverted Insulation System

Bauder Ltd are pleased to announce, as part of our ongoing commitment to providing up to date waterproofing and insulation solutions, the latest addition to our Inverted Insulation range is now available to all our Approved Contractors.

BauderVIP INV

BauderVIP INV is a next generation insulation with a higher level of thermal efficiency compared to other inverted insulation types. Consisting of an Inverted Roof rigid vacuum insulation panel with a microporous core which is evacuated, encased and sealed in a gas tight membrane, BauderVIP INV panels are also encapsulated in a protective coating for increased robustness and easier handling on site.

BauderVIP INV Panels are Part of a System

BauderVIP INV panels are part of an inverted insulation system comprising of the panels themselves in a single or double layer, determined by the thermal requirements. They are used in conjunction with BauderXPS (300), which is always located on top of the BauderVIP INV panels, with its thickness also determined by the thermal requirements. BauderXPS (300) is also used to infill any roof space not covered by the panels.

BauderXPS, BauderROCK NC 56mm Upstand Boards and Warm Upstands can be designed into the system but will be priced separately.

Intended Use

BauderVIP INV panels are suitable for use ideally in roof areas where a lack of construction depth or space is an issue, such as roofs, roof terraces, enclosed balconies over heated space and insulated walkways in an inverted roof build-up. BauderVIP INV panels are suitable for use in both new build and refurbishment situations.

Advantages

• Optimal performance where a scheme design thermal conductivity could be as low as 0.009 W/mK (depending on board size).
• Ideal for constructions where lack of construction depth or space is an issue.
• Protective coating for increased robustness and easier handling compared to standard VIP.
• Suitable for use with Bauder Hot Melt, RBM and LiquiTEC Cold Applied Waterproofing Systems.
• Resistant to the passage of water vapour.

BauderVIP INV Insulation is Provided as a System

Each roof area utilising BauderVIP INV will be designed with only that roof area in mind. The designed BauderVIP INV scheme will arrive on site including all component parts. Roof areas concerned will also be checked prior to delivery to ensure that the scheme design matches the physical roof area.

BauderVIP INV Roof Designs

All BauderVIP INV designs will arrive on site with a drawing showing the build-up and board layout of each component part.

It will also include a list of components included within the design.

Pricing

All roof designs are priced as a system and as such will not appear as component parts on any of our System Price Lists. There will be one price for each relevant roof area design.

If BauderXPS, BauderROCK NC 56mm Upstand Insulation or Warm Upstands are required within the design, provision will be made, but these items will need to be priced and ordered separately.

Supply & Lead Times

The availability of this product will be from w/c 22/11/2024 on direct delivery only.

The lead time on this product will be 25 working days from date of order.

Further Information

Design Service

Our technical team will arrange schemes for individual projects and provide advice for flat roof fall design. The project-specific design provided by Bauder must be followed on site to ensure the correct installation is achieved.

Off Loading
