Improved Parapet Outlet

To assist in reducing the number of parapet outlets required per roof area.

Bauder are pleased to announce, as part of our continued commitment to providing a comprehensive range of waterproofing accessories, that the BauderTHERMOFOL letterbox outlet has recently undergone significant enhancements to improve its durability and flow rate.

The new and improved BauderTHERMOFOL letterbox outlet is available from the beginning of July 2024.

Product Details

BauderTHERMOFOL PVC Letterbox Parapet Outlet DN 205, including stainless steel leaf guard.

This product is supplied as standard with a stainless steel leaf guard and an anthracite-coloured flange.

What's Changed?

• The spigot has been upgraded from polypropylene to stainless steel, providing additional strength once installed and greater protection during transit to site.
• Improved flow rate of 2.02 l/s (based on a 35mm head of water).
• Reduced manufacturing costs have enabled a lower list price, with the saving passed on to customers.

Pricing

The new list price for the outlet and leaf guard is £376.55, representing a saving of approximately 15%.

This upgraded product will be included within the next Thermofol price list update but can be purchased with immediate effect. Please contact your local Area Technical Manager or the Bauder Sales Department for current pricing and availability.

Installation Compatibility

The upgraded letterbox outlet has a spigot length of 600mm. The spigot is designed to fit most commonly sized 250mm hoppers.

The membrane flange is fully compatible with BauderTHERMOFOL waterproofing membranes and forms part of the Bauder warranty covering the waterproofing junction.

The complete outlet assembly, including leaf guard, is supplied in a cardboard box.

Drainage Calculations

The Bauder Technical Department can carry out drainage calculations when Bauder outlets are being used, helping determine how many outlets are required for each roof area.
