Changes to LiquiTOP Glass Fibre Mat

Due to product availability and usability improvements, we will be changing the roll size of LiquiTOP Glass Fibre Mat.

Why Are We Changing?

As part of our continual product improvement programme, we are introducing a new LiquiTOP Glass Fibre Mat product.

The new mat offers improved wetting-out characteristics, helping the glass fibre mat to saturate more effectively within the LiquiTOP PU First Coat/Embedment Coat and making the system even more user-friendly to install.

Outline of Changes

The new glass fibre mat maintains the same mass per surface area of 225gsm and incorporates a feathered edge.

The change does not affect either the in-service performance or the guarantee of the LiquiTOP systems.

Bauder LiquiTOP Glass Fibre Mat will be supplied in the following format:

• Mass per Surface Area: 225gsm
• Roll Weight: 28kg Net (30kg Gross)
• Roll Size: 0.95m × 120m (approximately 114m²)
• Pallet Quantity: Approximately 3,192m² per pallet

The new roll size became available from September 2022 and all subsequent deliveries will contain the new product.

The previous and new versions of the Glass Fibre Mat can be mixed within the same installation without any difference in the performance of the finished waterproofing membrane.

During the transition period, it would assist Bauder if orders for LiquiTOP projects specify the required roll size. Our Sales Team will manage the transition and confirm the quantity of material supplied in square metres.

Pricing

The new LiquiTOP Glass Fibre Mat list price is £289.56 per roll (£2.54/m²).

The LiquiTOP Price List will be updated at the next scheduled revision.

We understand that some projects may have been secured using the previous product and pricing structure. In these cases, please discuss pricing requirements with your local Area Technical Manager.
