New Thermofol Cable Duct & Light Grey Embossed Walkway
Cable duct to assist with cable entry and light grey walkway to provide a contrasting colour.
Bauder are pleased to announce, as part of our continued commitment to providing a comprehensive range of waterproofing accessories, the launch of a new cable duct and light grey embossed walkway for use with our Thermofol PVC system.
BauderPVC Cable Duct DN 110
Designed to provide a weatherproof sleeve for cables or pipes that penetrate through a flat roof. Supplied with an integral dark grey PVC membrane flange for simple installation.
The two elbows direct cables and pipes horizontally and/or vertically whilst helping to protect the exit point from rain and water ingress.
The membrane flange is fully compatible with Thermofol membranes and therefore forms part of the Bauder warranty.
Fixing
The duct incorporates a metal base plate beneath the PVC flange, which should be mechanically fixed through the membrane field sheet and into the substrate. The PVC flange can then be heat welded to the Thermofol field sheet. Please refer to the relevant Bauder standard detail drawing.
A lubricating grease may be helpful when attaching the elbows together and connecting them to the duct pipe.
Pricing
The cable duct is not included in the latest version of the Thermofol Price List but will be added to the next update.
List Price: £110.93 per unit (excluding VAT).
BauderPVC LSF Embossed Walkway Membrane in Light Grey
In addition to the dark grey embossed walkway membrane currently supplied, Bauder will now be stocking a light grey Thermofol embossed walkway membrane.
This product is identical to the current dark grey version in every respect except for its colour.
The introduction of this new colour option provides an alternative to a dark grey walkway membrane on a similarly coloured Thermofol field sheet, creating a more visible and contrasting designated walkway across the roof surface.
Pricing
The light grey Thermofol embossed walkway membrane is not included within the latest version of the Thermofol Price List but will be added to the next edition.
The light grey version is available at the same price as the existing dark grey embossed walkway membrane.
Availability
The new PVC Cable Duct and Light Grey Thermofol Embossed Walkway will be available from 1st May 2024.
Compatibility
The PVC Cable Duct can also be used with Bauder cold liquid applied waterproofing systems. Please refer to the appropriate Bauder detail drawings for correct installation guidance.
Delivery
The PVC Cable Ducts will be supplied in cardboard boxes.
