Introducing a new standard range of glass modular rooflights.

As part of our continuous product development process, Bauder is pleased to announce a new standard range of glass modular rooflights.

What are BauderFLATGLASS Rooflights?

A cost-effective range of standard sized rooflights comprising flat glass double glazing in conjunction with a sloping uPVC upstand to create a fall.

Options include splayed or vertical upstands, with a choice of trickle ventilation or chain motor opening units in standard sizes ranging from 600mm x 600mm up to 2000mm x 1000mm.

The Design

Both uPVC upstand options have a starting height of 215mm and are sloped at 5° to ensure effective rainwater drainage from the glazing. This helps reduce staining and lengthens cleaning intervals.

These units are designed to be mounted in an "E" foot arrangement, meaning at finished roof surface level or above.

The glass glazing comprises double glazed sealed units set into a powder-coated anthracite grey frame. The glazing will not be available without the upstand due to the complexities of insulating the outer face of builder's kerbs.

Thermal Performance

The assembled units achieve a U-Value of 1.3W/m²K.

Fragility

CWCT TN66, TN67, TN92 – Class 2 (non-fragile, but not walk-on).

Guarantee

This range will be covered by the Bauder modular rooflight guarantee, with a duration of up to 25 years, subject to terms and conditions.

When Will These Be Available?

These units will appear in Bauder written specifications and be ready to order from w/c 19th August 2024.
