BauderSOLAR Updated to Include Bayonet Locking Cap

As part of our ongoing product improvement process, we are introducing a locking mechanism to the BauderSOLAR bayonet cap.

Why?

We are introducing a locking pin to further increase the security of the BauderSOLAR system.

This safety pin prevents bayonet locking caps from being unclipped by anyone other than suitably skilled operatives.

The additional locking pin also ensures that installation operatives can clearly identify when the bayonet cap has been correctly fitted and fully locked into position.

When Does This Come Into Effect?

All new orders from 1st February 2022.

What About Projects Already Live on Site?

This modification forms part of Bauder's ongoing product improvement programme and is not required for existing installations already completed or in progress.

Does This Affect the Guarantee?

No. There is no change to the BauderSOLAR guarantee.

What About Pricing?

The introduction of the additional locking pin will not affect product pricing.

What About Literature and Documentation?

Installation guidelines have now been updated and a copy is included with this update.
